Rules of Behavior

Welcome to our online community dedicated to all things about Ford EVs! We’re excited to have you here and encourage active participation and discussion. To ensure a positive and productive environment for everyone, we’ve established the following Rules of Behavior. By participating in this forum, you agree to abide by these rules.

1. Respect and Courtesy:

  • Be Respectful: Treat all members with respect, regardless of their experience level, opinions, or background. Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks, insults, or harassment will not be tolerated.
  • No Snark or Sarcasm: While humor is welcome, avoid snarky, sarcastic, or condescending remarks. Communication online can easily be misinterpreted, so err on the side of clarity and kindness.
  • Constructive Criticism: Offer constructive criticism in a polite and helpful manner. Focus on the content of the post, not the poster.
  • Listen and Learn: Be open to different perspectives and be willing to learn from others. Remember, everyone is at a different stage in their EV journey.
  • Girls Club Membership: The Mustang Mach-E Girls Club is a dedicated space for individuals who identify as a woman. This space is intended to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for women within the EV community.

2. Content Guidelines:

  • Stay On Topic: Keep discussions relevant to Electric Vehicles, related technologies, infrastructure, and the EV lifestyle. Off-topic posts may be moved or deleted at the moderators’ discretion.
  • No Spamming: Do not post unsolicited advertisements, promotions, or links to irrelevant websites. This includes excessive self-promotion.
  • No Doxing: Do not share personal information about other members without their explicit consent. This includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying details.
  • No Vulgar or Inappropriate Content: Refrain from using vulgar language, including excessive or unnecessary cursing. Posting sexually suggestive content, hate speech, or anything that could be considered offensive or discriminatory is not allowed. This includes images, videos, and text.
  • No Illegal Content: Do not post or link to any illegal content, including copyrighted material, pirated software, or anything that violates local, state, or federal laws.

3. Responsible Participation:

  • Be Responsible: Take responsibility for your words and actions. Think before you post and consider the impact your comments may have on others.
  • Accurate Information: Strive to provide accurate and factual information. If you’re unsure about something, cite your sources. Avoid spreading misinformation or rumors.
  • Report Violations: If you see something that violates these rules, please report it to the moderators. Don’t engage in arguments with those who are violating the rules; simply report the post.
  • Use the Search Function: Before asking a question, use the forum’s search function to see if it has already been answered. This helps keep the forum organized and prevents redundant discussions.
  • Be Patient: Remember that replies may not be immediate. People have lives outside of the forum.

4. Moderation:

  • Moderator Authority: The moderators have the final say on all matters related to forum rules and conduct. Their decisions are binding.
  • Warnings and Bans: Moderators may issue warnings to users who violate these rules. Repeated or severe violations may result in temporary or permanent bans from the forum.
  • Rule Changes: These rules are subject to change at the discretion of the forum administrators. Any changes will be announced to the community.

5. Community Spirit:

  • Be Welcoming: Extend a warm welcome to new members and encourage their participation.
  • Be Helpful: Share your knowledge and experience to help others.
  • Have Fun! Enjoy the community and engage in productive discussions.

We believe that these rules will help create a welcoming and informative environment for all members of our EV community. Thank you for your cooperation!
