Most of the fields are self-explanatory, but here are some clarifiers:

Event Title - The name of the event. Note, if it is part of a larger event, you can choose what title you want to be listed. For example, if there is a “San Diego Cars & Coffee” but we are organizing a Ford EVs meetup at the “Cars & Coffee,” the title could just be “San Diego Cars & Coffee” or maybe something like “Ford EVs at San Diego Cars and Coffee.” Also, we suggest including a city or other identifier in the event title. We don’t need 100 Cars & Coffees listed without a city being mentioned.

Event Description - Please include whatever relevant info that will help people to know more about this event. Even though location and timing info might be listed further down on the event page, feel free to include some of those details here as well.

Event Time & Date - Pretty straight forward. For timezone, pick one of the cities that is in the timezone of the event. (Don’t ask me why they don’t just use the standard Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific!)

Event Image - This is not required but is just helpful. If there is a flyer image you can use that. Another option is a photo from a similar event or just one of a Mach-E or Lightning.

Event Categories - Just pick at least one: Ford EV Clubs, Lightning Club, Mach-E Club, or Mach-E Girls Club. It is OK to pick more than one or all four.

Venue Details - This is the location of the event. More than likely, you are going to have to create a new venue listing. Just type what you want to name the location and then click the “create” option. Make sure you give it a unique name. I.E. Don’t just make a listing called Starbucks but it is fine to create one that says San Mateo Starbucks.

Once you click “create,” you’ll have the options to add the address info. The system is going to use that info to create the marker on a Google Map, so please try to find an accurate address.

Organizer Details - This works like the Venue field. You can search for a previously created organizer, or just type a name and then select “Create.” The idea is to have a person or organization listed so people know you to contact if they have questions. This info will be displayed publicly on the website so make sure it is OK to post phone or email info. It is OK to just list “Ford EV Clubs” if you have no other option.

Event Website - If there is a website where people can go for more details, list it here. This can be for event details, ticket sales, a Facebook event listing, etc. If you don’t have one, just skip it.

If you are unsure of anything, just submit it and we can help correct any issues!
